The GeoCrypt 2011 conference will be held at Centre IGESA (La Marana), about 8 km from Bastia, Corsica, France.
It is organized by the following institutions:
- the ATI team (Arithmétique et Théorie de l'Information) of the Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy, CNRS laboratory.
- the ANR project CHIC (Courbes Hyperelliptiques Isogénies et Comptage).
Topics:
The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers from arithmetic geometry and cryptography.
The workshop will be centered on the central problems of the CHIC project: effective algorithms for abelian varieties over finite fields, in particular for improving the representation of points and group law computation, efficient point counting algorithms for curves and abelian varieties, and invariant theory and arithmetic for curves of low genus. |
